What the numbers say

The NCCPA report stored for Barry University covers a single class, 2024, so no trend can be drawn: 91% of its 74 first-time takers passed the PANCE. The national rate that year was 92%, leaving Barry 1 point below it. IPEDS lists 98 PA degrees conferred by Barry in 2024-25, and attrition for the class of 2025 stood at 1% in the ARC-PA table. Per the June 2026 information sheet, the program lasts 28 months and matriculates a new class every August. That sheet lists Miami Shores tuition at $39,000 per year and notes that it is raised annually. CASPA is the only application Barry requires, and it must be received by December 1; check the program's page for the current cycle. Both the overall and the science GPA need to be 3.0 or higher. Coursework expected before entry spans general or inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry or biochemistry, human anatomy and physiology with labs, microbiology with lab, an additional biological science, and a behavioral or social science such as psychology, sociology or human growth and development. Barry has held ARC-PA accreditation since October 1997, currently at Accreditation-Continued, and its next review is not due until April 2036. College Scorecard's median 1 year after completion is $109,866 for graduates of Barry's allied health diagnostic, intervention and treatment master's field in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 cohorts. For graduates of that field who finished in 2017-18 and 2018-19, College Scorecard gives $127,660 at 4 years after completion.
